Wrong size is the #1 most complained-about issue in r/repbudgetsneakers. Chinese shoe sizing, clothing sizing and accessories all follow different rules.
Sizing is the most common reason for QC rejections and returns on Kakobuy. The good news: it's entirely preventable if you know the rules before you order.
Shoe sizing — the most important section
The critical rule: when in doubt, size up half a size. Chinese sizing uses EU as the standard but labels are not always consistent.

Clothing sizing — always check the measurements
Chinese clothing sizing (S/M/L/XL) runs about 1–2 sizes smaller than US or European sizing. A Chinese XL often corresponds to a US M or L.
- Use centimetre measurements from the listing, not the size label
- For hoodies and oversized fits: Chinese “oversized” is often still fitted by Western standards
- For T-shirts: Chinese M = roughly US XS–S depending on brand
